Forsyth, Georgia – A Book Review
In a True Story of Death and Life - Get a Glimpse of Heaven
I hadn't planned to read this book. I had just finished a tome of a novel and I wanted to read something light and easy. I fell asleep with it after about one/half an hour the first night. That was not the book's fault because I was just plain tired. In two separate reading sessions I devoured the book. Not only was the story compelling, it was nearly impossible to stop reading the spellbinding facts of this human being who had been crushed to pieces in a car crash. No matter your religious beliefs this ordained minister's story is one you will never forget if you choose to read this miraculous episode of death, fractured bones, immeasurable pain, which no human should ever have to endure. With the help of a gifted writer, Cecil Murphy, Don Piper wrote a New York Times Best Seller with more than three million copies sold. © 2004 by Don Piper, forty-ninth printing.
Rather than try and tell you about the story and spoil it, I would like you to know that I was dead-set against reading this book, but something kept urging me to go ahead and read it. I would call myself a conservative skeptic about most things and at three score and ten plus, I was not eager to begin believing a story about heaven. But, believe I have; and the facts are almost indisputable. You will have to read it yourself to believe it.
